Once you’ve finished a map , you can export your map for use in other applications. Select JPG, PNG, BMP or TIFF, to export your map image. PDF and EPS provide rich vector-base , multi-layered exports of your map, which are useful if you’re designing maps for printed material or need to make further edits to the design or layout.
When you have credits you can download your maps. You can download a file by using the Download Map button located right below the map preview thumbnail. Ensure you’ve selected the right Output type before downloading the map.
To create a new map, choose Create New Map from the My Account page. Take a look at our simple quick start video for a brief overview of how to use Maps4News. Learn the basics, how to use different map styles, and how to add features to your map.
Maps4News comes with a wide range of carefully designed default map styles, fonts and features. In addition to the style elements that come with Maps4News, map colors, features, and fonts can be easily created for you. Do you want us to custom build your own complete map design? You will need Credits to download map files. For each map downloaded, a credit will be deducted from your account. Unused credits are kept in your account for future use. To buy credits, please contact Maps4News. Note: Our maps can be downloaded using either credits or subscription plans.
Everyone can try out Maps4News and experience that creating beautiful maps with Maps4News is fast and easy. Due to the limitations of the Free account, however, you may not be able to download your created maps. Do you want to try Maps4News and download your maps as well? Extra data can be added to your all your Maps4News projects. Files can be added as a layer to your maps or you can import routes, locations, addresses and coordinates using csv, kml and gpx files.
All maps you download using your credits do not have watermarks. Only the thumbnails visible on the site are watermarked for reasons related to copyright protection.
